What You’ll Bring:
- Active ME state license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- PROMPT certification is essential for this position
- Experience working in schools or with adolescent students preferred
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently, adapt to evolving student needs, and follow district guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a high school student, 45 minutes per week, as specified by the IEP team
- Employ PROMPT therapy techniques according to best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communication with the IEP team
- Attend virtual meetings as part of student support and progress reviews
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support
- Comply with all school, district, and state policies and procedures, including confidentiality and recordkeeping
