Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Arizona
- Experience working in school settings preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans based on student IEPs
- Use evidence-based interventions to improve students’ articulation, language, fluency, and voice
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Advocate for student needs within the school setting
