Speech Language Pathologist Job Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/SLP-CCC) for a full-time, school-based position in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. You’ll join a collaborative special education team and provide speech-language services to students from elementary through high school. Both experienced school-based SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.
SLP Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and speech-language goals.
Provide direct speech and language therapy based on student needs.
Evaluate communication skills and monitor student progress.
Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations.
Support students in developing communication and academic skills within an inclusive school environment.
SLP Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Active Virginia SLP license and required school-based credentials.
School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and student engagement skills.
Professional references from the past two years.
