Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Frederick, MD
Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Hagerstown, MD area. Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Maryland SLP license or eligible for credentialing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged
- Previous experience in schools, pediatric settings, or telepractice is a major plus
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication evaluations and interventions for children
- Excellent communication and organization skills; comfort working independently and as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and track measurable goals
- Collaborate closely with parents, educators, and other therapy professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state policies
- Adapt therapy and support to meet students’ varied needs, using both traditional and teletherapy approaches if necessary
