Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fort Worth, Texas
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person therapy services in an elementary school setting in Fort Worth, TX. This contract position offers the chance to support students' communication development while contributing to a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct in-person speech therapy to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student needs and goals
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contemporary knowledge and experience in school-based speech therapy practices
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists or relevant credentials for SLPAs
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational settings
- Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Current licensure or certification appropriate for school-based speech therapy
