Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Fort Pierce, FL
Exciting opportunities are currently available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a positive impact within a school environment! Two full-time contract positions are open for skilled SLPs near Stuart, Florida. Both SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Valid FL SLP license and active school credentials
- Demonstrated expertise in providing services to pediatric and/or school-age populations is preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining detailed progress notes
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations for interventions
- Supporting a diverse student population and contributing to a supportive school culture
