What you’ll bring:
- Current New York State SLP license and TSSLD certification (non-negotiable)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school settings supporting IEPs and speech improvement plans
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads across different age groups and support a positive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K-4 and across middle and high school (serving approximately 70-75 students)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Offer targeted speech improvement sessions for groups and individuals
- Complete assessments and maintain detailed progress documentation
- Engage families, teachers, and other staff in the support of students’ communication development
- Participate in flexible interview scheduling and prompt decision-making processes
