Speech-Language Pathologist – Multiple Locations in El Dorado County, CA (Contract)
This contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathologists the chance to work across multiple school sites throughout El Dorado County for the remainder of the school year. Positions cover a diverse range of settings, with schools located primarily between El Dorado Hills and Camino. Candidates should be comfortable with an itinerant role, involving travel between locations and potential changes in assignments during the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate caseloads spanning PreK to adult transition programs
- Provide direct support and intervention following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise CFs (Clinical Fellows) and SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants) onsite as needed
- Collaborate with educators and school personnel to support student progress
- Maintain documentation and compliance with California school and special education requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working in California schools and familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple sites across the county
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload sizes and student needs
- Strong communication skills and experience with speech and language interventions for school-based populations
Location:
- Multiple school sites throughout El Dorado County, CA including El Dorado Hills and Camino
- Onsite presence required; teletherapy options are not accepted for this role
