What you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration for strong Clinical Fellows
- Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and build rapport with diverse student populations
Essential responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individual and group, in alignment with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in academic and social environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
