Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Florence, Colorado

Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various speech, language, and communication disorders in a preschool population
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Efficient organization and documentation habits to effectively manage a moderate caseload
- Deep commitment to fostering communication milestones in early childhood
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to preschoolers, both in group and one-on-one settings
- Track sessions, progress notes, and maintain records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Partner with educators and support staff to incorporate communication strategies into daily learning routines
- Engage with families to support carryover and reinforce goals at home
