Speech Language Pathologist in Florence, CO
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners with speech and language needs in a vibrant preschool setting. This role focuses on delivering impactful services to a dedicated caseload of 35-45 preschool students, providing essential interventions and fostering dynamic communication growth.
With a school year running from August 12th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with educators and families, playing a pivotal role during these foundational years. Enjoy a unique schedule—two weeks each month are four-day workweeks, while the other two involve five days, for a balanced work-life rhythm and up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado SLP license required
- CO CDE certification required
- ASHA CCC or strong clinical fellowship candidates (CFY) encouraged
- Experience with preschool-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for preschoolers with speech/language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with staff and families to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
