Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school team in the Florence, AZ area. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students with a wide range of communication needs in both general education and self-contained settings.
Caseload Details
- Total Caseload: Approximately 55 students
- Includes 17 students identified with Speech-Language Impairment (SLI)
- Student needs range from general education to self-contained classrooms
- Additional support provided by a part-time SLPA on-site
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEPs
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Arizona
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across varying levels of support needs
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- School-based experience and SLPA supervision experience preferred
