School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fishers, Indiana
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This role offers an engaging blend of responsibilities including evaluation, direct therapy in speech and language, AAC management and education, and collaborative consultation—all within one school site. Begin with a full-time schedule covering a maternity leave from November to February, then transition into a part-time role with flexible hours (15–20 hours/week) through the end of the school year in May.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Background in working with school-aged children, specifically K–8th grade
- Open to both seasoned professionals and newly licensed clinicians
- Comfortable communicating with families, staff, and teachers
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to act as the lead CCC
- Experience or interest in AAC device management and training
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Candidates equipped to deliver teletherapy, with support from an in-building facilitator, are welcome
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Deliver impactful therapy to a caseload of approximately 75 students
- Lead case management, ensuring compliance and progress tracking
- Maintain clear, compassionate communication with families and school staff
- Foster collaborative relationships with educators to support student success
- Provide guidance and support for AAC device implementation and education
