This contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist with CCCs, eager to provide evaluation, therapy, and collaborative services to a diverse caseload of approximately 75 students—all at a single site. The position begins as a full-time maternity leave assignment (November to February), transitioning to a flexible part-time schedule through mid-May.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana SLP license with CCCs required
- Open to both experienced clinicians and newly licensed SLPs
- Demonstrated skill in speech and language evaluation, therapy, and AAC management/education
- Strong communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff
- Ability to assume a leadership role for CCC tasks
- Comfortable developing and executing a teletherapy plan—connection with onsite personnel is necessary
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Deliver direct, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to students
- Provide ongoing AAC device management and educational support
- Serve as the lead CCC, maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and performance
- Communicate professionally with families, staff, and educators to support student progress
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to meet student needs
Additional Details:
- Full-time schedule (Monday–Friday) November–February; transitions to part-time (15–20 hours/week, flexible days) through May 19, 2023
- Immediate start available; interviews scheduled for late November–early December
- Caseload of about 75 students, all conveniently located at one school site
- Teletherapy options are available with proper planning and onsite coordination
