In this role, you'll support student success through assessment, intervention, and participation in IEP development and team meetings. You'll manage a diverse caseload, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a significant part in each student’s educational and developmental progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Washington State SLP Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (WAC 392-172A-02090)
  • Current fingerprint clearance, WSP and FBI background check, and sexual misconduct clearance
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent evidence of mobility
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive school-based SLP services to students in K-12
  • Complete thorough evaluations and document all findings according to state and district standards
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Engage in regular case management, participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, and communicate effectively with faculty and families
  • Work exclusively on student in-person days, closely following district site work schedules
