Key Qualifications:
- Current, active North Carolina SLP license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated previous experience in a school-based setting is highly recommended
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to working exclusively onsite throughout the assignment
Role Highlights:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support educational goals
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, timely records
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise and advocacy for student success
- Support and mentor less experienced clinicians as applicable
Experience a full 37.5-hour work week across the school year (August through May), working with a diverse student population. Assignments will be onsite only, with positions available in multiple schools, including a dedicated role at an elementary school.
