A certified School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school in Fayetteville, GA. This role offers a full-time schedule supporting pediatric students through speech therapy services for one school year contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 55 elementary-aged students
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Participating in meetings such as IEPs and collaborating with educators and families
- Completing detailed reports and maintaining Medicaid billing documentation compliant with regulations
- Managing all aspects of caseload treatment planning and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Certification as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Experience working in school and pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to complete teletherapy services if needed
- Familiarity with healthcare and Medicaid regulations beneficial
- Strong documentation and organizational skills essential
