Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience with school-aged or elementary student caseloads preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Strong organizational skills for effective itinerant work across multiple sites
  • Compassionate, patient approach to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Deliver interventions in individual and small group settings, adjusting strategies for diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Attend and contribute to IEP/504 meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Travel between 2-3 nearby schools, managing your schedule efficiently
