Elementary School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spokane, Washington

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience with school-aged or elementary student caseloads preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Strong organizational skills for effective itinerant work across multiple sites
- Compassionate, patient approach to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Deliver interventions in individual and small group settings, adjusting strategies for diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP/504 meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Travel between 2-3 nearby schools, managing your schedule efficiently
