The assignment runs from July 9th through August 19th, with a consistent 7-hour workday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., allowing you to dedicate your skills to a meaningful and rewarding setting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure, plus Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged students, preferably within populations with multiple disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, support staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to varied learning abilities
- Dedication to fostering language, communication, and social skills in diverse student groups
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs in collaboration with the educational team
- Create and deliver personalized intervention plans for students with multiple disabilities
- Maintain consistent documentation, progress notes, and required reports
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding effective communication strategies
- Adjust therapy techniques and goals to support students’ progress throughout the session
