You’ll be working closely with dedicated educators and staff to help young children in Spencerport develop critical communication skills. This contract runs from April 20, 2026, through June 25, 2026, giving you the chance to positively impact students during a pivotal point in their school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active NY State SLP license (must be submitted with your application).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience working in school settings, especially with preschool-aged children, is strongly preferred.
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and providing evidence-based intervention.
- Clear communication, collaboration skills, and an approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and design individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to preschool students in a classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data on student performance.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member.
