School Speech Language Pathologist - Fairhope, Alabama

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience working with school-age children (K-12) is valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements for school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate on IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in individual and group settings
- Engage with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom and at home
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide input and recommendations to enhance student communication across educational environments
