Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fairfield, Connecticut

Two passionate SLPs are needed, with flexibility for clinicians holding either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CF). Full supervision is available for CF candidates, ensuring you receive the mentorship and professional development you deserve.
In this innovative program, SLPs partner directly with teachers and students inside the classroom, rather than utilizing a traditional pull-out model. This collaborative setting means you can witness your interventions in context, foster stronger relationships, and see students’ communication skills flourish in real time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Enthusiasm for in-classroom support and creative collaboration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy within the classroom alongside educators
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Participate in classroom activities, supporting students’ communication needs daily
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Consult with teachers and families, offering strategies for communication success
