Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for effective work with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering a wide range of speech and language interventions
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop and implement individualized or group therapy plans targeting communication, language, fluency, articulation, and social skills
- Track student progress, maintain clear records, and provide input for IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote generalization of skills within the classroom and community
- Stay current on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
