Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia (VA) SLP License, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY), Teletherapy SLPs, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with relevant school or healthcare experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting students across diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to promoting inclusive, developmentally appropriate interventions
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload (approx. 55 students)
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Consult and collaborate closely with a team of 7 other SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEPs, and family consultations
- Adapt therapy models for student needs, including teletherapy as applicable
