Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school setting is highly valued
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students across assigned school locations
- Conduct assessments, develop individual education programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in professional meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
