Overview
A school district in Culpeper, Virginia is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students across multiple grade levels. This role focuses on helping students improve communication skills that are critical to their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students with a variety of speech and language disorders
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
