A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for a part-time contract position located in Fairfax, VA, serving multiple educational settings. This role requires on-site work with students in various environments, including in-home, traditional school, and private day school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a 4th-grade student in their home.
- Deliver therapy to a 2nd-grade student within a school setting.
- Potentially serve two students at a private day school in Manassas during the interim while the school seeks a permanent therapist.
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure is required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site only; no virtual options available.
- Completion of the Virginia Department of Social Services background check and TB test are mandatory before starting.
- Candidates with 0-10+ years of relevant experience considered.
