Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina SLP license and SC Teaching Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Strong knowledge of healthcare protocols and best practices for SLPs
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to diverse caseloads ranging from early childhood to high school
- Conduct evaluations, create IEPs, and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Adapt therapy sessions to individual student needs to foster growth and confidence
