A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Issaquah, WA, offering a dynamic work schedule catering to middle school and homebound students. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, providing an opportunity to engage with diverse student needs across different settings.

Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy services four days a week at a middle school, working approximately 725 minutes per month, and dedicating Mondays to support homebound students. On Mondays, the focus will be on students who require assistance with AAC devices, eye gaze technology, and specialized communication strategies. This schedule allows for a varied and impactful caseload that spans both in-school and homebound educational environments.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Expertise working with school-aged children, particularly at the secondary level
  • Experience with AAC devices, eye gaze, and other assistive communication technologies
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt therapy methods to individual needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with educators and families

Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Tuesday through Friday, with a Monday start time of 8:30 AM to accommodate homebound service delivery. The position begins with a planned overlap during the week of February 9 or February 23 for onboarding and smooth transition.
