Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity at a K12 School in Peabody, Massachusetts
Location: Peabody, Massachusetts
Assignment Dates: Beginning August 24, 2026; end date to be determined
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week; on-site only
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to K–12 students at a school campus in Peabody, Massachusetts. This is an on-site opportunity beginning during the 2026–2027 school year.
The final weekly schedule, caseload, and specific responsibilities will be determined based on campus needs, clinician availability, and professional experience.
Caseload Information
- K–12 student population
- Caseload size and student needs will be discussed during the interview process
- Approximately 20–30 working hours per week
- Services will be provided on-site at the Peabody campus
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Clinical Fellows are not being considered for this position
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
- Monitor student progress and update goals as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student-support meetings
- Follow applicable federal, state, and school requirements
Screening & Credentialing Requirements
- Successful completion of all school onboarding requirements
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Massachusetts and the school
- Verification of active professional licensure and ASHA certification
- Internal eligibility interview
