Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to K–12 students at a school campus in Peabody, Massachusetts. This is an on-site opportunity beginning during the 2026–2027 school year.

The final weekly schedule, caseload, and specific responsibilities will be determined based on campus needs, clinician availability, and professional experience.

 

Caseload Information

  • K–12 student population
  • Caseload size and student needs will be discussed during the interview process
  • Approximately 20–30 working hours per week
  • Services will be provided on-site at the Peabody campus

 

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
  • Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Clinical Fellows are not being considered for this position
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Monitor student progress and update goals as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records
  • Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student-support meetings
  • Follow applicable federal, state, and school requirements

 

Screening & Credentialing Requirements

  • Successful completion of all school onboarding requirements
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Massachusetts and the school
  • Verification of active professional licensure and ASHA certification
  • Internal eligibility interview
