This position features a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, where you’ll play a crucial role in helping children reach their communication goals.

You will work across elementary, middle, and high school levels, supporting between 70-75 students, including those with IEPs and those identified for speech improvement. The role primarily involves work with K-4th graders at the elementary level but also covers older students in the district. Flexible interview scheduling and board approvals twice a month make for a seamless hiring process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New York SLP license and TSSLD certification (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based settings and managing diverse caseloads
  • Ability to support both IEP students (20-30) and those needing speech improvements (45-55)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions for students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with special education teams
  • Track progress and maintain accurate records for each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
