A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential support to rural schools within a cooperative partnership, focusing on delivering specialized speech-language services. This on-site role is located in Eugene, OR, serving the Junction City School District through a collaborative effort with the Lane Education Service District.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students within rural schools.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary.
  • Support students with behavioral challenges, utilizing experience in managing significant behaviors.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred.
  • Experience working in school-based settings.
  • Previous experience managing students with significant behavioral needs is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a rural school environment.
