Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working with school-aged children is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions and IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate students’ progress
- Document assessments, therapy sessions, and progress according to school or district guidelines
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and related staff activities
