Pediatric School-Based SLP | Vista, California

This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse K-12th grade caseload and providing crucial speech-language services from now until the end of the current school year. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, helping students develop essential communication skills in a community with a high bilingual population. Bilingual speech-language pathologists are especially encouraged to apply, as are CCC-SLP certified professionals.
What you bring:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• California SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFY) with strong pediatric or school-based experience
• Experience serving a pediatric, K-12, and school-based caseload
• Comfort delivering services to a highly bilingual group; bilingual proficiency is a major plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
Your contributions will include:
• Conducting screening, assessments, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Consulting with teachers, families, and school teams to support student success
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records per state and school guidelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating to create a positive school environment
