Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district for a temporary full-time assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. This position provides coverage for a one-month medical leave and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication needs in an elementary school setting.
Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Schedule: Full-time
- Assignment Dates: August 13 or 14, 2026 – September 30, 2026
- Reason for Assignment: Medical leave coverage
- Caseload: Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th Grade
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families and school staff.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on district requirements.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.53 to $72.53. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
