Speech Language Pathologist in Englewood, FL
Exciting opportunities are available for two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking full-time roles for the 2026-2027 academic year near Englewood, FL. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact on students by providing essential speech and language services in a school-based setting. Both experienced clinicians (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply—travel professionals are also welcome! Candidates must be available for on-site work; remote options are not available at this time.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and school-based speech services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions to students with various needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate records, participate in IEP meetings, and provide progress reports
- Support social, academic, and functional communication for students
