Desired Skills and Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Colorado licensure appropriate for school-based SLP practice (or eligibility)
- Experience supporting speech and language needs in PreK or elementary settings
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to tailor interventions to individual goals and IEP objectives
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual or small group sessions
- Conduct assessments and evaluations; develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the team
- Monitor and document students’ progress, modifying goals as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and family members to ensure consistent support
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as a valued team member
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation per district and state requirements
