Travel Speech Therapist in Enfield, CT
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatric and school settings to support two schools in Enfield, CT. This travel position runs from July 6 through July 30 and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role is fully in person, providing direct support Monday through Thursday, from 8:15 AM to 1:45 PM, totaling 22 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students’ communication needs.
- Participate in goal-setting and progress monitoring to ensure effective outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Travel between two local schools to provide consistent, high-quality interventions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
- Experience providing pediatric speech-language services, particularly in schools.
- Familiarity with Extended School Year (ESY) programming.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
