Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active licensure as an SLP in Maryland (or eligibility for rapid acquisition)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students as needed
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain clear documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
