What you’ll bring:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous hands-on experience working in California schools (prior CA experience required)
- Proficiency with SEIS for IEP and documentation management
- Eligibility to work outside the state of California (candidates must not be residents of California)
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and special education teams
- Compassionate approach to meeting student speech and language needs
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students according to IEP goals
- Complete assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings within SEIS
- Consult and collaborate with educators and families to support student success
- Maintain current documentation and progress reports adhering to school district and legal requirements
- Offer recommendations for classroom strategies or accommodations as needed
- Engage in professional communication and contribute positively to the school community
