Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric SLP roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of SLP assessment, documentation, and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary-aged students
- Manage a caseload (number of students to be determined), focusing on providing therapy only
- Conduct thorough evaluations, create and implement treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and school procedures
- Consult and collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents as needed
- Adhere to all ethical and legal requirements related to student care
This contract role begins as soon as possible and is projected to continue through the end of November, with the possibility of extension. You’ll work 24 hours per week over three days, allowing for a better work-life balance. Candidates can expect competitive compensation between $55–$60 per hour, along with weekly pay.
