Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Previous experience with school-aged children a plus
- Comfort with IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative attitude and adaptability within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills individually or in groups
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans based on evaluated needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with all regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate strategies in the classroom and beyond
- Provide support and education to families regarding communication development
