Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CA Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct interventions in individual and group formats as needed
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Provide resources and support for staff and parents regarding student communication needs
