A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services within K-12 school settings in the LaMesa area of San Diego, CA. This role primarily serves students with moderate to severe speech and language needs, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment for experienced SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license with an active CCC credential
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
  • Proficiency in teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy formats
  • Skill in serving students with moderate to severe communication disorders
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities

Location:

  • LaMesa/San Diego area, California

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students displaying moderate to severe speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and families to develop individualized therapy plans and goals
  • Document progress and maintain thorough reports compliant with school and state regulations
  • Provide services Monday through Friday, sharing a combined total of 60 hours weekly with another SLP
  • Utilize both in-person and teletherapy approaches as appropriate
