School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Embark on a fulfilling opportunity helping middle school students achieve their communication goals in a supportive educational environment. This contract-based role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and guiding support staff. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week, focused exclusively on-site at two vibrant middle schools.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid Minnesota state licensure as an SLP
- Prior school-based SLP experience, preferably with middle school populations
- Capable of supervising an SLPA to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver evidenced-based therapy to middle school students
- Provide supervision and support to an SLPA who will manage the primary delivery of services
- Document and report progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the broader educational team
