SLP in Lakeville, MN
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within a K-8 school setting in Minneapolis, MN. This onsite contract role focuses on delivering speech and language services to students across grades 1 through 8. The position is for a contract duration aligned with the current school year.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and implementing speech and language interventions tailored to student needs. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student communication goals is essential. Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and policies are also key duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school-based services
- Experience working with K-8 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
