Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations including those with various speech and language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to students with speech and language challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented educational environment
