Speech Language Pathologist in Easton, MD

This contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to work onsite in a supportive district in the Denton, MD area from August 26th, 2026 through June 11th, 2027. The position covers 37.5 hours per week and involves a diverse caseload with both spot-fill responsibilities and specialized high school assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Maryland SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based speech/language therapy practices
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant clinician
- Dedicated, positive approach to working with students with moderate to severe needs in a self-contained high school setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students across several schools
- Manage an itinerant schedule and support immediate, spot-fill caseload needs
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for student success
- Provide expert services within both general and special education classrooms
