Speech Pathology - Hurlock, MD
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide part-time, specialized services in a school setting located in Hurlock, MD. The position is contracted from April 20, 2025, through June 17, 2026, supporting a caseload of 16 students over approximately 23.75 direct service hours per month. This role offers flexibility with a preference for onsite work, though telepractice (VOCO) options are considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate caseload documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland.
- Valid certifications as required by the state.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and adapt to student needs.
