Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Strong background in providing speech, language, and communication interventions in school settings
- Experience serving students ranging from kindergarten through high school
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders within the K-12 population
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to enable student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations tailored to student needs
- Offer guidance and support to school staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations
