Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set attainable goals for student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed, offering insights and recommendations for student support
